Payment

Traveling with the night bus is easy. Check in and out with OVpay (debit card, credit card, mobile and the new OV-pas) or OV chip card. Note: free travel with your student card or subscription is not possible on the Utrecht night bus or other night buses.

When you check in, €8 (the boarding fare) is temporarily deducted from your balance.
When you check out, that €8 is returned and you only pay the night fare of €5. So make sure you have enough balance.

Rates and Info

The fixed fare for the night bus Utrecht, Amsterdam, and Amersfoort is always €5 per ride.
