Possible regional transport strike on Thursday, October 22

The CNV and FNV trade unions have announced a strike in regional public transport on October 22. If it goes ahead, fewer buses, trams and regional trains will be running.

This strike would be part of actions related to a new collective labor agreement for public transport. The employers have now invited the unions by letter to resume negotiations and asked them not to strike.

The letter states that the employers are prepared to amend or withdraw some of the proposals discussed earlier. They also see room to make agreements on wage development within an overall agreement for a new collective labor agreement lasting two years.

We hope the unions will accept our invitation to resume negotiations and call off the strike. Keep an eye on our channels for updates.
