Would you like to park cheaply in Utrecht and travel quickly to the city centre? Our best advice: use the P+R facilities on offer in Utrecht. Park your car on the edge of the city and travel to the centre by tram or bus with up to five people on one ticket. Children up to and including 11 years of age always travel for free (maximum of three children per paying adult). The combination of P+R and tram/bus offers great value, whilst avoiding traffic congestion on your way to the city centre.
Drive to one of the P+R sites in Utrecht. When you drive in, you will receive a P+R card. For € 5,50 you will be able buy a public transport ticket at the yellow ticket machines. This ticket provides access to the bus or tram that departs from your chosen location. Don’t forget to check in and out at the tram stop or whilst boarding and exiting the bus. Combining the use of P+R and public transport offers an additional advantage: when you return from the city centre, you can use the blue ticket machine at the P+R location to get a discount on your parking. You will only be charged € 3,00 (€2.50 for P+R Berlijnplein – Leidsche Rijn Centre). The discount is only valid on the same day.
Travel from P+R Westraven by tram 20/21 or bus 65/74/77. You reach the center within 15 minutes. Remember to check in and out at the tram stop or bus. You pay €5.50 for the transit ticket and only €3.00 for parking on return.
From Utrecht Science Park, travel by tram 20/21/22 to Galgenwaard or Utrecht Central. You can also take U-link bus 28 to the center. It's important to check in and out at tram stops or bus here too. Parking returns cost €3.00 after discount.
Take bus line 28 or 73 to the center. Buy your P+R ticket for €5.50 and pay only €2.50 for parking on return. Always check in and out on tram or bus.
Travel by bus 102 and 307 from Papendorp-North to Utrecht center. The public transport ticket costs €5.50; with the discount, parking costs just €3.00 on return. Checking in and out on tram or bus is essential for a valid trip.
