King's Night and King's Day with U-OV

Extra buses during King's Night

On King's Night (Sunday evening, April 26), extra buses run on the following lines:

  • Line 3 
  • Line 7 
  • Line 12 
  • Line 28 
  • Line 73 
  • Line 74 
  • Line 77 
  • Line 85 

Night buses will also run from Utrecht until 4:00 AM. This way, you don't have to worry about how to get home.

King's Day: relaxed on the go

Wearing orange? Check. In a good mood? Double check! Taking the bus on King's Day is easier than ever. You check in and out easily with your debit card, credit card, or mobile. It’s not just handy but also very affordable! 

Good to know:

  • On King's Day (Monday, April 27), buses and trams run a Saturday schedule. Note: neighborhood buses do not run, but neighborhood bus 501 does. 

  • You pay a maximum of € 10,- per day for all your U-OV trips when checking in and out with OVpay (debit card, credit card, mobile, and the new OV-pas). 
     The (King’s) night network is excluded. Furthermore, this maximum daily rate does not apply to the OV-chipkaart.

  • Children up to and including 11 years of age travel with you for free.
    A maximum of 3 children free per adult.

  • Traveling with a group? Buy multiple day tickets at an extra discount in the U-OV app.
