Transport Plan 2027
16/9/2026
In March this year, we submitted the draft 2027 transport plan. After consulting with various parties, the Provincial Executive of Utrecht adopted the 2027 transport plan this week. This plan includes several changes compared with the current timetable.
A stable timetable is our top priority. That is why we agreed with the Province of Utrecht that, starting on 13 December—the start date of the new timetable—we will implement only the changes listed below. We will not yet implement the other changes in the plan. From 13 December, we will run approximately as much service as we do now, or slightly more. During 2027, we will expand the timetable step by step, as soon as reliability permits.
Changes in Utrecht Inner
- Route 27 will be extended and will also operate in the evenings and on weekends, between Maarssen, Utrecht city centre and Utrecht Science Park.
- Route 12 will be discontinued. Routes 120 and 13, as well as the train, will continue to provide good connections between Maarssen and Utrecht Central Station.
- Route 122 will continue to operate between Overvecht and Tienhoven.
- Route 127 will return between Haarzuilens and Utrecht Leidsche Rijn.
- In mid-2027, the tram to Utrecht Science Park is also expected to run more frequently, including evenings after 22:00 and weekends.
Changes in Utrecht Outer
- You will have to change less often: routes will be linked, for example between Soesterberg and Amersfoort, Soest and Vathorst, Bunschoten and Utrecht Science Park, and De Ronde Venen and Hilversum Sportpark.
- Route 341 will run more frequently between Utrecht and Bunnik.
- Routes 15/315 in Amersfoort will run faster via Zijderupsvlinder.
- Route 6 in Amersfoort will run via Van Randwijcklaan, making it easier to get off in Liendert.
- Routes 80 and 380 between Amersfoort and Woudenberg will run at fixed times.
- Community bus 503 will be discontinued. Community bus 572 will run via Eemdijk, connecting Eemdijk with Bunschoten-Spakenburg and Baarn.
- The Oosterland residential area near Mijdrecht will get a bus connection with Uithoorn and Mijdrecht.
- During peak hours, the bus between Woerden station and Woerden Molenvliet will run via Woerden city centre.
- The bus routes between Woerden station, Montfoort and Oudewater will become one route.
- Route 307 will continue to Oudewater more frequently during the afternoon peak.
- The Lage Dijk industrial estate in IJsselstein will be better served by route 195.
