Sunday, October 4: other bus routes due to the Singelloop in Utrecht

On Sunday, October 4, the Singelloop takes place in Utrecht. As a result, many buses in the city will follow a different route. They will also skip some stops. Where possible, we will stop at a nearby stop. Sometimes a line that does not normally stop there will serve it.

How long will the diversions last?

The buses will follow a different route from the first bus until 3:30 p.m. Lines 1, 2 and 9 have different times. You can find them below under the relevant line.

Tip: find your line below and check where your bus will and will not stop.

Line 1: Between Utrecht CS and Overvecht-Noord (in both directions)

• Line 1 runs via Daalsesingel stop to Adelaarstraat stop.
• Line 1 does not stop at Sint Jacobsstraat stop. Board or alight at Daalsesingel stop.

Line 1: Between Hoograven and Utrecht CS (in both directions, until 10:30 p.m.)

• There is a street market on Rijnlaan. Therefore, line 1 does not run through Rivierenwijk.
• Line 1 does not stop at Waalstraat and Maasplein stops. Board or alight at Balijelaan or Socrateslaan stop.
• Line 1 also stops at Balijebrug and Europaplein-Oost stops.

Line 2

Line 2 does not run until 6:00 p.m. The first bus departs at 6:03 p.m. from Utrecht CS Centrumzijde.

Lines 3, 6 and 7

• Line 3 runs between Utrecht CS and Overvecht.
• Line 6 runs between Utrecht CS and Overvecht-Zuid.
• Line 7 runs between Utrecht CS and Zuilen-Noord.

In both directions, these lines run via Daalsesingel stop to Oudenoord stop. They do not stop at Sint Jacobsstraat stop. Board or alight at Daalsesingel stop.

Line 5: Between Utrecht CS and Voordorp

• Via Daalsesingel stop, line 5 follows line 1's route to Willem van Noortplein stop. The bus then runs via Kardinaal de Jongweg and Juliusstraat stop to Van Everdingenlaan stop.
• Line 5 does not stop at: Vredenburg, Neude, Janskerkhof, Stadsschouwburg, Wittevrouwenbrug, Kleine Singel and Eykmanplein.
• Line 5 does stop at: Daalsesingel, Adelaarstraat, Willem van Noortstraat, Willem van Noortplein and Juliusstraat.

Line 8: From Utrecht CS to Wilhelminapark

• Line 8 runs via Europalaan, Beneluxlaan, 't Goylaan and Waterlinieweg to Diakonessenhuis-Noord stop.
• Line 8 does not stop at: Vredenburg, Neude, Janskerkhof, Stadsschouwburg, Maliebaan, Burgemeester Reigerstraat, Oudwijkerdwarsstraat, Oosterstraat, Homeruslaan and Adriaen van Ostadelaan.
• Line 8 does stop at: Lanslaan, Europaplein-Noord, Europaplein-Oost, Socrateslaan and 't Goylaan.

Line 8: Towards Lunetten

• Line 8 runs via Europalaan, Beneluxlaan and Socrateslaan to Aquamarijnlaan stop. The bus then runs via W.A. Vultostraat to Smaragdplein and follows the regular route to Lunetten.
• Line 8 does not stop at: Station Vaartsche Rijn and Tolsteegplantsoen.
• Line 8 does stop at: Lanslaan, Europaplein-Noord, Europaplein-Oost, Socrateslaan, Constant Erzeijstraat, Rijnhuizenlaan and Aquamarijnlaan.
• Going to Tolsteegplantsoen? Board or alight at Aquamarijnlaan stop. You can reach Station Vaartsche Rijn by train.

Line 9

Line 9 does not run until 3:30 p.m. The first bus departs at 3:40 p.m. from Utrecht CS towards Galgenwaard.

Line 28: Between Utrecht CS and P+R Science Park (in both directions)

• Line 28 runs via Europalaan, Beneluxlaan, 't Goylaan and Waterlinieweg.
• Line 28 does not stop at: Neude, Janskerkhof, Stadsschouwburg, Wittevrouwen and Oorsprongpark.
• Line 28 does stop at: Lanslaan, Europaplein-Noord, Europaplein-Oost, Socrateslaan and 't Goylaan.

Line 29: Between Science Park and Vleuterweide-West (in both directions)

• From Koningin Wilhelminalaan stop, line 29 runs via Europalaan, Beneluxlaan and 't Goylaan to Waterlinieweg.
• Line 29 does not stop at: Balijebrug, Balijelaan, Station Vaartsche Rijn, Sterrenwijk, Ina Boudier-Bakkerlaan and Diakonessenhuis-Zuid.
• Line 29 also stops at: Europaplein-Oost, Socrateslaan and 't Goylaan.
• Going to Balijebrug or Balijelaan? Take line 1.
• Going to Diakonessenhuis-Zuid? Take line 8 to Diakonessenhuis-Noord stop.
• You can reach Station Vaartsche Rijn by train.

Line 47: Between Utrecht CS and Houten (in both directions)

• Line 47 runs via Europalaan, Beneluxlaan and 't Goylaan.
• Line 47 does not stop at: Station Vaartsche Rijn, Tolsteegplantsoen, Aquamarijnlaan, Rijnhuizenlaan and Constant Erzeijstraat.
• Line 47 does stop at: Lanslaan, Europaplein-Noord, Europaplein-Oost and Socrateslaan.
• Going to Aquamarijnlaan, Rijnhuizenlaan or Constant Erzeijstraat? Take line 8.

Line 55: Between Utrecht CS and Maartensdijk

• Via Daalsesingel stop, line 55 follows line 1's route to Willem van Noortplein stop. The bus then runs via Kardinaal de Jongweg and Juliusstraat stop to Professor Dieperinklaan stop.
• Line 55 does not stop at: Vredenburg, Neude, Janskerkhof, Stadsschouwburg, Wittevrouwenbrug, Kleine Singel and Eykmanplein.
• Line 55 does stop at: Daalsesingel, Adelaarstraat, Willem van Noortstraat, Willem van Noortplein and Juliusstraat.

Lines 73 and 74: Between Utrecht CS and Zeist

• Both lines run via Daalsesingel, Oudenoord, Talmalaan and Kardinaal de Jongweg. From Sartreweg and Berekuil, they run to Utrechtseweg.
• Lines 73 and 74 do not stop at: Neude, Janskerkhof, Stadsschouwburg, Wittevrouwen and Oorsprongpark. Line 74 also does not stop at Vredenburg.
• Both lines also stop at Sartreweg stop. Line 74 also stops at Daalsesingel stop instead of Vredenburg.

Line 77: Between Utrecht CS and Bilthoven

• Line 77 runs via Daalsesingel, Oudenoord, Talmalaan and Kardinaal de Jongweg to Biltse Rading.
• Line 77 does not stop at: Neude, Janskerkhof, Stadsschouwburg, Wittevrouwen, Oorsprongpark and Sartreweg.
• Going to Sartreweg? Take line 73 or 74.
