16 and 23 February: Adjusted timetable around Utrecht Central Station

The municipality of Utrecht is carrying out the SPARK new-build project on Smakkelaarsveld, next to Utrecht Central Station. As a result, work will take place on Monday 16 and Monday 23 February, causing disruptions to public transport.

Changes on Monday 16 February
The tram will operate in two separate sections. Trams to and from IJsselstein and Nieuwegein will stop at Utrecht Central Station Jaarbeursplein. Trams to and from P+R Science Park will stop at Utrecht Central Station Centrumzijde. This means that there will be no trams running between these two stops. Several bus lines will also run less frequently and some departure times will change. In addition, some departure stops at Utrecht Central Station will change.

Bus lines 2, 3 and 28, which normally depart from Utrecht Central Station Centrumzijde, will move to Utrecht Central Station Jaarbeurszijde on this day: Lines 2 and 3 will depart from stop C7. Line 28 will depart from stop C6.
Line 18 will temporarily depart from C6.
Line 85 will temporarily depart from C8.
Lines 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 18, 28, 29, 34, 55, 73, 74 and 77 will have changed departure times.
During peak hours, there will be fewer trips on bus lines 1, 3, 7, 8, 18, 28, 29 and 74.
During off-peak hours, there will be fewer trips on bus lines 1, 3, 34, 73 and 77.
Line 2 will not stop at the Hoogh Boulandt, Nicolaas Beetstraat, Willemsplantsoen and Hoogh Catharijne stops.
Line 3 will not stop at the Daalsesingel stop.
Lines 12, 13, 28 and 73 will not stop at the Moskeeplein stop.
Tram lines 20 and 21 will only run between Nieuwegein/IJsselstein and Utrecht CS Jaarbeursplein. Tram line 22 will run as normal between Utrecht CS Centrumzijde and P+R Science Park.

Changes on Monday 23 February
The tram will again operate in two separate sections. Trams to and from IJsselstein and Nieuwegein will stop at Utrecht CS Jaarbeursplein. Trams to and from P+R Science Park will stop at Utrecht CS Centrumzijde. There will be no tram service between these two stops. Our bus lines will operate according to the standard timetable.
