Current Situation and Result of Adjusted Schedule
By easing pressure on drivers, buses, and the power grid, we bring more calm to bus transport and ensure more reliable U-OV service. We have applied the approach of running slightly fewer buses since early April in Utrecht Outside and from early May also in Utrecht Inside. This new approach brings improvements. There is enough power for the number of buses running and schedules have been simplified. Almost all new buses have been delivered and are charged as planned. As a result, more buses run on time. Trip cancellations have dropped to 5-6% in Utrecht Binnen and 2% in Utrecht Buiten. We continue to work on lowering this further. Fortunately, more passengers are choosing U-OV again. In April, more people traveled with our buses and trams than in April 2023.

Looking Ahead
Our goal is clear: a reliable schedule for you as a traveler. We work hard on this every day. The shortage of drivers and high absenteeism still require extra attention. In the coming period, we will take necessary steps to make our service more reliable. Once achieved, we will gradually expand the schedule.

Money Back for Delays and Cancellations
